Chris Wells is a native of South Carolina, and was raised in Summerton, SC near the banks of the Santee Cooper lakes. He is a graduate of Clarendon Hall Academy, Francis Marion College, and attended Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Chris came to faith in Jesus at a young age, and was called into the ministry while attending Francis Marion College. In 2004 he started Wellspoken Ministries, and speaks to thousands each year all over the United States.

Chris combines a blend of humor, passion, and intensity to convey his concern for people who don’t know Jesus. His messages are exciting, expositional, and inspirational with a strong evangelistic emphasis. He speaks to a wide range of audiences but has a passion to reach out to Bass fishermen and Sportsmen. He is available to speak at Wild Game Banquets, Churches, School Assemblies, Men's Ministry events, Camps, and Youth Conferences.

Chris and his wife Pam now live in Greer , South Carolina, and they have two sons, Stephen and Wesley. Chris is a bass fishing fanatic and is the self proclaimed “biggest Bass pro Wannabee” in the country. They attend Spartanburg Community Church in Spartanburg South Carolina.
