I've been fishing ever since I can remember but one time when my dad took my fishing at my grandpa's house, I caught a 15 pound catfish and all I have wanted to do is fish since. I didn't get started into bass fishing till a few years later when my uncle bought a pond with tons of largemouth in it. I've been fishing that pond for at least 8 or 9 years and the fishing just keeps getting better. Last march I caught a 7lb 8oz giant, that's the biggest fish out of that pond in over 5 years. That is a special pond because that is where all my bass fishing roots come from. Last spring I started getting serious about having fishing as my career. I was at Lake Tillery almost every weekend last year, even the 100 degree weather didn't hardly slow me down. Now this year I'm gonna be fishing in the BFL and the Bassmaster Open at Santee Cooper. Thanks to my entire family, God, and the people at vertical lures for giving me a chance it will give me a better shot at reaching the top and fishing against KVD in the Bassmaster Classic.
