Hello, I am 47 years young and have been married to Deborah for 23 of those years! We have two wonderful children, son James (19) and our daughter Tiffany (15). We currently reside in Woodbridge, Virginia and are both employed by U. S. Department of State, Bureau of Diplomatic Security Services.

I grew up in the rolling hills surrounding the Ozarks in Missouri and like most boys, I loved the outdoors. Through my Father and the Boy Scouts, I soon realized that fishing and hunting was a part of life that I thoroughly enjoyed and wanted to pursue. My dreams of fulfilling this passion would be put on hold. After graduating High School I joined the United States Navy “Seabees” and 20 years later retired as a Chief Petty Officer and NAVY Veteran.

I have been fishing competitively since 2003, primarily in the Fishers of Men National Tournament Trail “Team Series” Virginia East Division and the National Bass Circuit. I chose a different route than most in competitive fishing; I became involved with team trail formats which allow me to get my family involved. Over the course of my life, community involvement has played an important role. Sharing ones blessings is extremely important to me especially for today’s youth. I find this very rewarding especially in the fishing community where over the last several years I have been supporting and serving on the Federation Nation of Virginia Youth program. In addition, I will serve as the Virginia East Director for the Fishers of Men NEW “Legacy Series" tournament trail for adult/junior teams.
