Bio: |
I am 34 years old and reside in South Carolina. I am a Quality Manager for a manufacturing company and an investor in real estate.
I am married to Annabelle Outlaw and we have two beautiful little girls named Abbigale and Julianne. My family is my biggest support and I owe them more than I can ever return.
I started fishing when I was three years old. I went fishing with my grandmother constantly. We were the terror of all of the local ponds. As I got older I started having more and more
interest in bass fishing. As a teenager I could not get enough of the outdoors and still can’t. All I wanted to do was fish and deer hunt. When I was a teenager, my grandfather had a
lake house on Lake Marion, which is the upper lake of Santee Cooper. I spent several summers with my grandfather at the lake. Even though he was not a bass angler, I had access to a
johnboat and spent a lot of time learning to bass fish on my own.
I started fishing competitively about seven years ago. I joined a bass club and my wife and I started fishing The Guys and Dolls tournament trail. We had some success including a win
in March of 2002 on the Saturday before my youngest daughter was born. My wife is my best friend.
Of recent, I have been competing in the Fisher’s of Men, BASS Weekend Series and Wal-Mart BFL’s. I have also competed in a few Bassmaster Tour stops as a non-boater to gain experience
and knowledge directly from the “Pro’s”. The biggest highlight of my short competitive fishing career was winning the BASS Weekend Series at Santee Cooper in March 2005. Although my
goal as an angler is very similar to most which is to fish and work within the fishing industry, I differ in that my goal is to create a stable income away from fishing first. My
ultimate goal is to fish one of the tours full time.
